What’s in a name?
Amherst is an important part of our personal DNA. It began with an impulsive decision by Lynette, our co-founder, to purchase a farmstead online, in the historic goldfields region of Amherst in Victoria, Australia. That marked the beginning of a 20 year journey trying to bring a dream to life.
Twenty years later, we’ve made another impulsive decision, leaving our successful careers in London to start this company. We picked our name “Road to Amherst” in homage to the spirit of that first adventure, this time in the new goldrush era of AI.
